Home Party Business or Network Marketing

Network marketing and home party businesses might be the perfect way to get started. Although somewhat different in the sales approach both models are very similar in the services they provide their independent owners.

The greatest upside to this business model is that it is truly a “Business in a Box”, handling the arduous details you might not think of should you take on launching a business by yourself.

Infrastructure elements like catalogs, order forms, return procedures, pricing models, personal websites, terms and conditions, etc, etc, etc are all taken care of. Many companies even provide a customer service department where your customers can call and get answers day and night. All included in the price of the business.

The better programs also provide a sound direction, coaching, mentoring and guidance that are designed to make you successful. Some of it you’ll use, some you won’t, making your version of the business something personal and hopefully rewarding.

And finally the greatest upside to this business in a box is that there is no shortage of choices. You can find opportunities in almost every channels of trade.

  • Jewelry
  • Cosmetics
  • Telecommunications
  • Home goods
  • Crafts
  • Kitchenware
  • Gourmet (wine and fine cuisine)
  • Travel
  • Insurance
  • Legal Services
  • Education
  • Nutrition

These are just a few of the categories that feature fantastic home based business opportunities. In addition to the resources provided by most of the companies involved in this business model are numerous outside resources (many free) where you can go to learn tactics that can help you enhance your effort. Blogs, social networks, directories and free advertising sites dedicated to each industry permeate the net today.

  4. Hi Jennifer,
as a writer you might want to start by “googling” article marketing. There are several really great article marketing sites that get a ton of traffic.

You might also consider more than just pay-per-click programs.
